Tour Itinerary

Day One: We fly into one of the most unique fun cities in America—Cheyenne. City tour includes the Wyoming State Capital and Museum, historic governor’s museum, the Botanic Gardens, Big Boots sculpture and the historic downtown. This is a great city where you’ll feel like you just emerged from the Old West.

Day Two: We have a day to experience the biggest Western and Outdoor Rodeo event in the world. There is a native American village, the Old West Museum, Midway, multiple stages of entertainment, Western Art Museum, wild horse training and adoption and of course the rodeo. We will see it all and then some. This is one of the top 10 events in the US.

Day Three: Today we venture out of Cheyenne to nearby Laramie. We’ll visit the famous Wyoming Territorial Prison that was home to Wyoming’s bad guys in the 19th century and the incredible University of Wyoming Geological Museum with its unparalleled dinosaur collection. The highlight of the day might be our visits to two of the most scenic wonders of the west—Vedauwoo Recreation Area. The majestic granite spires will amaze you, but seeing the rock climbers will put chills in your bones. Medicine Bow National Forest is full of wildlife from moose to elk to black bear as well as some of the most beautiful vistas.

Day Four: Today we head north to Fort Laramie National Historic Park (two different Laramie’s in ONE STATE). This was one of the most important forts and trading posts in the West. The original buildings stand testament to its place in history. We will also visit Register Cliffs where settlers and pioneers following old west trails including the California, Oregon and Mormon all converged here. Many left their marks on the beautiful and interesting cliffs.

Day Five: We catch our late afternoon flight home today full of wild west history, scenic wonders, the fun of Cheyenne Days and the tranquility that is Wyoming.
